How to post an Expression of Interest (EOI)

Looking to gather interest for future roles or hire various talent? Post an EOI to gather potential candidates pool!

Expression of Interest (EOI) advertisements allow employers to gather applications and interest from candidates for general roles on their Enterprise Job Board.

For example, if your company is the hospitality industry you can post EOIs for general roles like; Front of House, Back of House, Marketing, Operations, within your company. Candidates who apply are then pooled and can later be connected with when a position opens up according to their department interest.

This makes EOIs a powerful tool for:

  • Building a candidate pipeline for high-demand departments

  • Understanding current job seeker interest in your sector and company

Here is everything you need to know about Expressions of Interests (EOI) on Workinitiatives in a quick 2 minute video:

2. Enable Expression of Interest

  • Navigate to your "enterprise job board" and click on the "visual editor". Toggle on the top of your screen "enable expression of interest".

  • To confirm this has successfully been enabled, you will see a new tab populate in the navigational menu called "expression of interest".

Congratulations! Feel free to share and advertise the expression of interest across your platform.

Managing Expression of Interest Applications

  • All applications will appear in your "applicants" menu in the "expression of interest" tab.

  • You can review profiles, filter by date of application, and review their resume.

  • When new employer opportunities come in, you’ll already have a pool of pre-interested candidates to contact.

TIPS:

  • Use clear, recognisable role titles.

  • When sharing the link externally, be transparent that this is an Expression of Interest (not a live vacancy).
