Instead of writing a new agreement from scratch for every client, you can create a template once and use it again for future matters.
When to use a service agreement template
Create a service agreement template when you want to reuse standard agreement wording across multiple clients or matters.
Templates are useful for storing commonly used sections such as:
Scope of services
Client responsibilities
Migration specialist responsibilities
Fees and payment terms
Refund or cancellation terms
Privacy and confidentiality information
Signature or acknowledgement sections
You can still review and update the agreement before sending it to a client.
How to create a service agreement template
From the left-hand menu, go to Agreements.
Select Templates.
On the Agreement templates page, click Create template in the top-right corner.
This will open the Fee agreement builder.
On the right-hand side, enter the required template details:
Agreement title
Agreement description
Use a clear title and description so the template is easy to identify later.
Example:
Agreement title: General Migration Services Agreement
Agreement description: Standard agreement for common migration services.Use the rich-text editor to enter the content of your agreement.
You can format your agreement using headings, paragraphs, bullet points, numbered lists, bold text, tables, and other formatting tools.
Once you are happy with the template content, click Save.
Your new template will appear in your Agreement templates list.
What happens after you save the template
After saving, your template will be stored in the Agreement templates section.
From this page, you can review key details such as:
Template title
Fee schedules
Quoted amount
Created date
Created by
Status
You can return to this section later to manage your templates, make updates, or use a template when preparing an agreement for a client.
Important notes
Always review the template before using it for a client to make sure the agreement content is accurate for that specific matter.
If the agreement requires a fee schedule, make sure the correct fees and payment terms are added before the agreement is sent for signing.
