Inviting and Managing Candidates

Updated today

This article provides an overview of everything visible on the Candidates screen, including candidate details, status indicators, and filtering options.

Open the Candidates Section

The Candidates section allows you to view, organise, and track candidates throughout their journey in your platform.

From the main menu on the left, click Candidates. This will open the Candidates List, where all candidates associated with your account are displayed. You can search by keyword, apply filters, or use the status buckets at the top of the page to quickly locate candidates.

Understand the Candidates List View

The Candidates List displays key information for each candidate at a glance, including:

  • Name and email address

  • Occupation

  • Partner classification

  • Experience

  • Current status

  • Date created

This view allows you to quickly assess where each candidate sits in the process.

Use Status Buckets and Status Indicators

Across the top of the Candidates List, you’ll see the status button that help organise candidates by their progress.

These include:

  • All

  • Pending requests

  • Pre-Qualified

  • Awaiting Consent

  • Rejected Consent

  • Job Ready

  • Archived

Each candidate is also assigned a status label in the Status column, indicating their current stage.

Common statuses include:

  • New – Candidate has been added, but has not completed the required steps

  • Awaiting Consent – Candidate is reviewing or providing required consent

  • Pre-Qualified – Candidate has been reviewed and marked as suitable

  • Job Ready – Candidate has completed the required steps and is ready for engagement by employers

  • Archived – Candidate is no longer active

Selecting a status bucket will automatically filter the list to show only candidates in that stage.

Open a Candidate Profile

To view a candidate’s full details, click their name or Action and View details from the Candidates List. This will open the Candidate Details page.

From here, you can review:

  • Profile strength and completion

  • Personal and contact information

  • Work experience and education

  • Licenses, registrations, and skills

  • Languages, preferences, and expectations

  • Uploaded documents

Take Action on a Candidate Profile

From the Candidate Details page, you’ll see action buttons in the top-right corner, such as:

  • Mark as pre-qualified

  • Message

These actions allow you to update a candidate’s status or communicate with them directly.

Further details on requesting information and messaging candidates are covered in separate articles.

What’s Next?

Once you’re familiar with the Candidates screen and candidate statuses, the next step is requesting additional information from candidates.
