Messaging with Candidates

Your platform allows you to communicate with candidates directly.

You can access messages in two ways:

  • From an individual candidate’s profile

  • From the Messages section in the main menu

This guide explains both options and how to start a conversation.

Message a Candidate from Their Profile

You can send a message to a candidate directly from their profile. From the main menu on the left, click Candidates, then select a candidate from the list. This will open the Candidate Details page.

Click Message from the Candidate Profile

On the Candidate Details page, locate the Message button in the top-right corner. Click Message to open the messaging window for that candidate. This will take you directly into the conversation thread.

Once the message window opens:

  • Any existing messages with the candidate will be displayed

  • You can type your message into the text field at the bottom

  • Press enter or send to deliver your message

All messages sent here are saved automatically in the platform.

Access Messages from the Messages Menu

You can also manage all candidate conversations from one central location.

From the main menu on the left, click Messages. This will open the Messages page, displaying all existing conversations.

Start a New Message from the Messages Page

From the Messages page, click New message in the top-right corner. This will open a list of candidates you can message. Select the candidate you want to contact to start a new conversation.

View and Manage Conversations

Within the Messages page:

  • Conversations are listed on the left-hand side

  • Selecting a conversation opens the message thread

  • You can continue the conversation by typing in the message field

This view allows you to manage multiple candidate conversations in one place.
