Students using iPads may encounter issues with the delete or backspace button when using the Google Chrome web browser. This is because the desktop site needs to be requested for the Google Chrome iOS to enable all features. Follow these steps to adjust the settings on the iPad:

Here are the steps to request the desktop site on Chrome iPhone/iPad:

1. Open the Chrome iOS app.

2. Open Writable by typing in https://app.writable.com.

3. Tap on 'More' (horizontal three dots icon) for the menu list.

4. Scroll down in the list and choose the 'Request Desktop Site' command.

The website will reload, and you will see the desktop view of the website.

NOTE: To switch back, you can choose the Request Mobile Site option at the same place.
