Do assignment scores sync from Writable to the Schoology gradebook?

Writable's Schoology integration syncs grades from Writable to your Schoology gradebook automatically.

After grading in Writable, grades will sync to your Schoology gradebook by default. Continue reading to follow the steps to grade assignments from Schoology and view scores in your gradebook.

  1. From your Schoology course, click on the course and the assignment you'd like to grade.

  2. Click the 'Guide & Grade' icon in the left menu.

  3. Review and score submitted work. With AI support you can quickly score and leave feedback for students directly on the Guide & Grade page. Click here to learn more about grading.

  4. To check your synced scores, revisit your Schoology course and click 'Gradebook' in the left menu.

  5. You will see the score from Writable assignment listed in your Schoology gradebook.

    Tips!

    • If you do not see your score in the Gradebook, be sure you have set up the assignment settings in Schoology to "Enable Grading" and set a grading category.

    • If you no longer wish for grades to sync, you can adjust this in your assignment options.

    • You can also adjust the total points for the assignment in the assignment settings.
