Do assignment scores sync from Writable to the Schoology gradebook?

Learn how grades in Writable sync to Schoology.

Teachers can grade student writing in Writable, and have scores sent automatically to their Schoology gradebook.

1. Click on the Writable assignment link from your Schoology course.

2. Click 'Grade Now' from the Teacher Dashboard. You may also scan the class roster, and click the submission link located under each student's name to grade a specific submission.

❗Note: We encourage you to use the 'Guide/Grade' tab to check student progress, grade by question, and provide teacher feedback via instant conferencing.

2. Now grade the student submission in Writable, and click 'Submit' or 'Submit & Next'.

3. Go back to your Schoology course, and click on 'Gradebook' from the left navigation menu.

4. You will see the score from Writable assignment listed in your Schoology gradebook.

❗Note: As you update grades in Writable, grades will be updated in Schoology. You can also log into Writable directly at app.writable.com to grade.
