Can Videos Be Downloaded from Xperiencify? Here’s What to Know
Updated this week

We get it—your content is valuable, and protecting your intellectual property is important. At the same time, you might want to download your own videos or even allow students to do so in certain cases. That’s why we put you, the course creator, in control—balancing content protection with the flexibility to share when you choose.

Let’s break it down so you can make the best decision for your course.

For Your Students

By default, there’s no direct way for students to download training videos from your course. This helps keep your content protected.

However, if you do want to make your videos available for download, we have options for how you can do that:

  1. Upload the video into the Training Notes or into a Training Action

  2. When the student views the Training Note or Training Action, they will typically see this menu on the bottom right corner of the video. (Note that this may vary based on the individual students' browser and settings):

3. When the student clicks that menu, they will see the option to download the video:

For You as the Course Owner

Once you upload a video to your course, it’s automatically stored in your Media Gallery. You can access and download your videos anytime by logging into your admin account

📌 Note: Videos uploaded before February 2024 won’t appear in the Media Gallery. If you need those videos, simply re-upload them, and they’ll be stored there moving forward.

To download a video from your Media Gallery:

  1. Open the video in your Media Gallery.

  2. Try one of these methods, depending on your browser:

    • Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac) on the video, then select "Save Video As" (or a similar option).

    • In some browsers, you may see a menu in the lower right corner of the video. Clicking it may give you a download option.

  3. Choose where you’d like to save the file on your device.

Your content is valuable, and with Xperiencify, you have the flexibility to manage it your way—protecting what matters while sharing easily to support your students.
