To analyze your return data in detail, you can export reports from the Insights section as CSV files. Depending on the size of the report, you can either export it directly or schedule it for background processing.
To view the "analyse" pages permissions are required for your user. If you do not see Analyse on the left menu bar contact the admin at your store and request permission to insights and analytics.
1. Locate Your Dataset
Navigate to the Analyze tab in the left-hand sidebar and select Datasets.
Click on the report you need (e.g., Product level report or Return request details).
2. Configure the Date Range
Define the time period for the data you wish to analyze:
Select your Request start date and Request end date.
3. Choose Your Export Method
Option A: Direct Export (Best for smaller/quick reports)
If you need the data immediately and the report is relatively small:
Click Run to view the data directly within the yayloh backoffice. In this example the refund transaction report is opened.
Once the data populates, click the Export CSV button located in the top right corner of the report. The file will download to your computer instantly.
Option B: Schedule & Download (Best for "heavy" or large datasets)
If the dataset contains a high volume of information or longer time period exports (e.g. Return request details with current tracking status):
Click Schedule & Download. This sends the request to our backend to compile the report without slowing down your browser. The screenshot below depict an example of exporting the Return request details with current tracking status dataset.
Navigate to My Reports in the sidebar.
Your report will appear with its current Status. Once it is marked as Completed (green), you can click 'download' to export the CSV file.
Good to know:
Larger reports may take a few minutes to appear in "My Reports" depending on the volume of data.
CSV Format: All exported datasets are provided in CSV format, making them easy to import into Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
Workflow Efficiency: Use the Export CSV button for daily checks and the Schedule & Download feature for monthly or quarterly deep dives.
Slow Loading? If a report is taking too long to "Run," try using the "Schedule & Download" option instead and shortening the date range.
General: Access to the "Analyze" section requires specific user permissions. If you cannot see this option in your sidebar, please contact your store administrator to request access to Insights & Analytics
