Sentiment helps you understand the overall tone associated with your brand in the AI responses Yetify tracks.
Use it to monitor changes over time, compare your brand with competitors, and explore where positive, neutral, or negative sentiment is appearing.
Review your Sentiment Score
The Sentiment Score summarizes how your brand is represented across tracked AI responses.
The score ranges from 0 to 100, with 50 as neutral:
Below 50 — sentiment is more negative than positive.
50 — sentiment is neutral.
Above 50 — sentiment is more positive than negative.
A score closer to 0 reflects consistently negative sentiment, while a score closer to 100 reflects consistently positive sentiment.
How Sentiment is calculated
Sentiment is evaluated per response, per brand.
Each response that mentions your brand is analyzed once to determine the sentiment associated with it. The same process is applied to competitors mentioned in that response, allowing you to compare how different brands are represented within the same answers.
Results are classified as:
Positive
Neutral
Negative
Only responses where the brand is mentioned and a sentiment reading can be determined contribute to the score.
How to interpret Sentiment
A higher Sentiment Score means your brand is generally being represented more positively across the AI responses being tracked.
A score around 50 does not necessarily mean there is an equal mix of positive and negative responses. It can also mean that the responses are mostly neutral or factual.
Use the sentiment breakdown alongside the overall score to understand what is driving the result.
Understand Confidence
Confidence indicates how much evidence was available in an AI response to support the sentiment reading.
It is separate from the Sentiment Score: the score tells you how your brand was described, while Confidence tells you how much information was available to make that assessment.
Confidence is shown as:
High — above 70%
Medium — 40–70%
Low — below 40%
NA — the brand was not mentioned, so there was no sentiment to assess
A brief mention can therefore produce a clear positive or negative result with Low Confidence, while a more detailed discussion can produce a higher-confidence reading.
