Settings - Workflow

In this article you will learn more about the 'Workflow' section in the 'Settings' menu of the YourDriverApp Web Portal.

In the Workflow menu, automate booking-related emails and texts to reduce no-shows and enhance customer experience with minimal effort.

For example, use Workflows to:

  • Send reminders to you and your customers about upcoming bookings.

  • Automatically text customers a live map link, showing the taxi’s location, x minutes before pickup.

Setup your own workflow

Click the plus sign in the bottom right of the screen to create your own workflows.

  • Name

  • When this happens: choose on of the following scenarios that you would like to base your workflow on:

    • Driver is driving to pickup location

    • Driver arrived at pickup location

    • Driver started job

    • Driver completed job

      • The driver that is linked to the booking

Settings

In this screen, configure additional settings for the workflow module:

  • Send default job-assigned email to drivers: By default, a confirmation email is sent when a job is assigned. You can disable this email if you’ve set up a custom workflow.

  • Send default confirmation email to passengers: By default, a confirmation email is sent to passengers when a booking is confirmed. Disable this if you’re using a custom workflow.

  • Send default cancellation email to passengers: A cancellation email is automatically sent to passengers when a booking is canceled. Disable this if you have a custom workflow.

  • Send default completion email to passengers: By default, a completion email is sent after a booking is completed. Disable this if you have a custom workflow.

  • SMS sender name: Choose a name or number to display in the "from" field of text messages, such as your company or campaign name.
