YourKind MCP — Connect Your Data to AI

Ask questions about your events & experiences in plain English. Get answers backed by your real data.

Written by Andrew

YourKind is one of the first operating systems for events & experiences in the world to offer an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration. It lets you connect your YourKind account directly to your preferred AI assistant, so instead of manually exporting reports or copy-pasting data, your AI works from your live business data automatically.

Why this is different

Most AI tools work in isolation. You ask a question, they answer from general knowledge. They have no idea how your last event performed, who your top spending customers are, or whether your SMS campaign drove ticket sales.

YourKind MCP changes that.

Because your entire operation lives on YourKind — ticketing, customer database, inbox, SMS and email marketing, campaign analytics, reviews, memberships, financial data, and attribution — your AI assistant gets the full picture of your business. Not a fragment of it.

The result is insights and advice that are specific to you, not generic.

What you can ask

Here are some examples of what you can do once connected, from simple questions to detailed analysis.

Simple queries

  • "How many tickets have I sold for my next event?"

  • "Who are my top 10 highest spending customers?"

  • "What was the revenue from my last event?"

  • "How many members do I currently have on my Gold membership?"

Marketing & campaign performance

  • "Which SMS campaign drove the most ticket sales in the last 3 months?"

  • "What is my average email open rate across all campaigns this year?"

  • "Compare the ROI of my last 3 SMS campaigns side by side."

  • "Which attendees opened my last campaign but haven't purchased yet?"

Audience & CRM insights

  • "Who attended more than 3 of my events in the last 12 months?"

  • "Which customers haven't attended an event in over 6 months?"

  • "What percentage of my audience are repeat buyers?"

  • "Give me a breakdown of my audience by location."

Financial & performance analysis

  • "What is my average revenue per event this year versus last year?"

  • "Which ticket type generates the most revenue across all my events?"

  • "What is my total payout amount for this quarter?"

  • "Which add-ons are selling best and on which events?"

Advanced analysis and reporting

  • "Build me a weekly sales report for my upcoming event showing tickets sold per day, revenue, and which promo codes are being used."

  • "Identify my highest value customer segment and suggest how I should market my next event to them."

  • "Cross-reference my Meta Ads data with my YourKind ticket sales to show which ad campaigns are actually driving purchases."

  • "Which of my recurring experience sessions are underperforming and what do they have in common?"

Going even further

Because MCP is an open standard, you can connect YourKind alongside other MCP-compatible tools. For example, connecting both your YourKind MCP and your Meta Ads MCP gives your AI assistant a combined view of your marketing spend and your actual ticket sales in one place — so it can tell you not just what performed, but why, and what to do next.

How to connect

Your unique MCP server URL is in your YourKind dashboard under Settings > MCP Server.

(1) Claude Desktop

  1. Click your avatar at the bottom left, then choose Settings

  2. Go to Extensions, then Browse Extensions

  3. Click Add

  4. Enter "YourKind" as the Name and paste your server URL into Server

  5. Set Authentication to None, then click Add

  6. Click Connect

(2) Claude Code

  • Follow the same steps via the Claude Code interface using your server URL.

(3) ChatGPT

  • Connect via the ChatGPT integrations panel using your server URL.

(4) Other AI tools

  • Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can be connected using your server URL. Refer to your AI tool's documentation for how to add a custom MCP server.

⚠️ Caution
Keep your server URL private. It acts as a password for your brand's data. Only paste it into tools you trust and never share it publicly. You can generate a new URL from the dashboard at any time if needed.

What's coming

The current integration is read-only, meaning your AI can query and analyse your data but cannot make changes. Write access is coming soon, which will allow your AI assistant to take action on your behalf — sending campaigns, creating events, updating records, and more.

When that lands, your AI assistant won't just tell you what to do. It will do it.
