Why does ZayZoon need to verify my phone number?

It's important to ZayZoon, and other companies following security best practices, that you are who you say you are when you log in. Using a One-Time Passcode minimizes the risk of any compromised passwords, hacking, or phishing. One-Time Passcode makes it much harder for someone who is NOT you to get into your account. Your One-Time Passcode is sent to your phone number via SMS or email. You need to have both your phone number and email address confirmed at the time you sign up for ZayZoon.

I'm not receiving the phone verification code, now what?

You should receive the phone verification code in less than a minute. If you have not received your code, please review these common troubleshooting steps:

  • Your mobile phone number is valid and active and your mobile device is turned on

  • You have a sufficient signal and you are on your home carriers network (not roaming)

  • Your mobile device is able to receive other text messages

  • Your carrier is not blocking 1-800 numbers

What can I do if my provider is blocking 1-800 numbers?

This is common that your phone may be set up to block 1-800 numbers and other spam-type services. Please dial 611 and request that Shortcode Blacklist is removed from your account. This is common with many T-Mobile, Metro PCS, and Sprint customers.

I received more than one passcode, now what do I do?

Always use the latest code that you receive. The other codes will expire as soon as a new one is sent. There are times when the phone network is delayed and it is suggested that you try back in 10-15 minutes. The issue will usually resolve itself.

This is a secure network that provides these codes so, while our Customer Care team is happy to assist you with these steps, they will not be able to send you a phone verification code.
