How do I access and navigate Impact Hub’s Builder?

Updated this week

The Builder page is where Impact Hub Authors view, create, and manage reports. From this page, you can review reports you have access to, open existing reports, and start new ones.

You must have Author or Author Pro access to use the Builder page.

Access the Builder page

To open Builder, use the left-side navigation menu in Impact Hub and select Builder.

When Builder opens, you’ll see a list of reports you have access to.

Review your report list

The main area of the Builder page displays your reports under the All reports tab.

Each report row includes:

  • Report name

  • Created date

  • Last modified date

  • Owner

  • View report link

  • Actions menu (⋯)

Using clear, consistent naming conventions can make reports easier to find, especially in shared environments.

Filter, sort, and find reports

As your report list grows, you can use the tools at the top of the page to locate reports more quickly.

From the Builder page, you can:

  • Filter by owner (for example, Any owner or My reports)

  • Sort reports by Date modified, Date created, or Name

These tools help you manage and navigate reports without scrolling through long lists.

Open or manage a report

From the report list, choose how you want to interact with a report:

  • View report opens the report in read-only mode so you can review its contents.

  • The Actions menu (⋯) provides additional options, such as deleting or sharing a report.

Available actions depend on your permissions and whether you are the owner of the report.

Create a new report

To start building a report, select Create report in the upper-right corner of the Builder page.

Builder opens the report authoring experience, where you can begin adding visualizations, fields, filters, and other report elements.

Important things to know

  • Only users with Author or Author Pro access can open the Builder page.

  • You can only view or edit reports you have been granted access to.

  • Newly published Apricot Data Standards appear as datasets in Impact Hub the day after publication.

  • If your data source has not synced recently, the most recent data may not yet appear in reports.
