Casper raters are trained to focus on the content of your answers, not on your spelling or grammar. This means that typos, incomplete sentences, or small grammatical mistakes will not affect your score. You’re welcome to write in full sentences or use bullet points—whichever helps you communicate your ideas most clearly under time constraints.
It’s also normal to run out of time before completing a response. We understand that this may be challenging within the time limit, and many applicants do not finish typing all their thoughts. Don’t let this worry you—just do your best to provide thoughtful responses within the time available.
We encourage you to use all the time provided in each section to focus on developing your responses.
How can I prepare for the Casper test format?
To help you feel comfortable on test day, we strongly recommend completing the Practice Test, available in the Casper section of your Acuity Insights account. This will help you get familiar with the test format and practice working within the time limit. You can take it as many times as needed.
To learn more about how responses are scored, see our article How the Casper Test is Scored.
