Your First Steps Checklist

The Get Started checklist in your Hub — what each step asks for, how ticking off works, and what happens when you finish.

When you're newly approved, your Creator Hub opens on a Get Started page rather than your Dashboard — a checklist that takes you from an empty storefront to a shared link and your first posts. Here's what each step asks for.

Note: Not every program shows all of these. Work through the steps you can see in your own Hub.

Where to find it

Log in at creators.loudcrowd.com/s/airbnb/login and you'll land on it. It's also the Get Started tab at the front of your Hub navigation, so you can leave it and come back from any other page.

The page opens with a welcome, then the checklist card — Your first steps as an Airbnb creator! — and a progress indicator showing how far through you are.

The steps

Tap a step to open it. Each one has short guidance and either something to copy or a button through to where you need to be.

Bookmark this URL to login to your Creator Hub

Save this link so you can always get back. There's no password to remember — every login sends a fresh one-time code to your email — so the thing worth saving is the address itself.

Authenticate your Instagram Account

Connect the Instagram account you'll be posting from, so the team can track the content you post, see how it performs, and consider you for new collaborations.

Your account needs to be public and a Creator or Business account — a personal profile can't be connected. Step by step: Connecting Your Instagram Account.

Create your first collection

Collections organize your storefront into curated sections, helping travelers find recommendations that match their interests. Add products through the Inspire Me tab, or through Quick add by pasting URLs from airbnb.com.

Try titles like Amazing Views, Unforgettable Experiences, or My Favorite Stays.

The step's button takes you straight to your storefront editor.

Add your link to your bio

Add your storefront link to your bio so followers can find your listings. It's the placement that works around the clock, and every link you copy from your Hub is tracked — so bookings that follow it are credited to you.

Review program guidelines

Read the full guidelines before you create anything. They cover how to disclose the partnership, where that disclosure goes on each platform, and how to speak about Airbnb.

It's all in one place: Program Guidelines.

Create your first story

Create your first Instagram story and make sure to include your storefront link. Add it with a Link sticker so people can tap straight through, and be sure to tag @airbnb in the caption of your story.

Create your first in-feed post

Create your first in-feed post. Tag @airbnb in the caption, carry your disclosure above the fold, and point people to the link in your bio.

Both post steps run through review: all content must be submitted for review and approval by Airbnb before posting. The step's button takes you to your Content tab — see Submitting Content for Review for how that works.

How checking off works

Tap the empty circle beside a step to mark it done. You're the one reporting it — nothing checks a step for you, so tick it when you've actually done it.

  • Ticking is permanent. A completed step can't be un-ticked, though you can reopen its guidance any time by tapping the row

  • Your progress follows you. It's saved to your account, so a step you completed on your phone is still complete on your laptop

  • One step is open at a time. Opening another closes the last, and completing one opens the next unfinished step

  • The chevron collapses the card if you'd rather see the page without it. That's just for this session — it's back next time you log in

When you finish

Once every step is checked off you land on your Dashboard, where you manage your partnership and track your performance and earnings. The Get Started tab goes away and the page doesn't come back.

Helpful resources

Below the checklist, Creator Academy — courses and guides to earn more with your storefront — opens at airbnb.loudcrowd.com/academy.

If you don't see it

You won't see the Get Started tab if you've already completed every step, or if your storefront link is still being set up — in that case you'll land on your Dashboard, and the checklist appears once your link is ready.

If you're new and it hasn't appeared, message the Airbnb team from the Messages tab in your Hub.
