Why It Matters
Users must have an account to log in and complete work in ANVL
Correct setup prevents access issues and rework
User roles and site assignment control what the user can see and do
When to Do This
A new employee is hired
A contractor or temporary worker needs ANVL access
An existing employee needs access to ANVL
Before You Start (Important)
You must be a Site-Level Admin with access to the Users tab
Every user must be assigned to at least one Group (Site)
Username cannot be changed after creation

Steps: Add a New User
Log in to ANVL Manager at
insights.anvl.com.Select the Users tab.
Select Add User.
Complete the user form:
First Name and Last Name
Username
Cannot be edited later
Use the organization’s standard naming convention
Email
Must match the employee’s email exactly
If your organization uses SSO, this email is used to link to the identity provider
Phone (required only for "ADMIN" role and Supervisors)
Roles
TECH – required to complete workflows (ANVL Mobile app or Workflows on the web)
ADMIN – required to access ANVL Manager
Note: This does NOT grant Admin Panel access
Location: Assign at least one Group (Site)
Select Create.
What Happens Next
The user receives a Welcome Email
Non-SSO users (ANVL Native Login)
Receive a temporary passcode
Must sign in within 24 hours to set their password
SSO-enabled users
Do not receive a passcode
Use their organization’s SSO to sign in via the email link
Encourage users to sign in as soon as possible after account creation.
Watch Out For…
Username cannot be changed after creation
Users without TECH role cannot complete workflows
Users without ADMIN role cannot access ANVL Manager
Special Rights (Admin Panel, Mobilize/Editor, etc.) cannot be assigned by Site-Level Admins
→ Contact your Business Administrator if additional access is required
What You Should See
New user listed in the Users tab
User assigned to the correct Group(s)
User able to log in successfully
