How to Record Appointment Attendance in Avaana

Follow these steps to record a claimant’s attendance for an appointment in Avaana. You’ll learn how to mark bookings as attended, rescheduled, no show, or cancelled

When a claimant has an initial or subsequent appointment, you can record their attendance in Avaana.

Recording attendance is one of the two steps required to generate an invoice for payouts.

Steps

  1. Go to Avaana (avaana.com.au). Navigate to Provider Log In, then enter your registered email address and password to access your account.

  2. Go to Bookings > Workcover Bookings page

  3. Locate the claimant and select the relevant booking.

  4. A pop-up will appear with attendance options: Attended, Reschedule, No Show, or Cancel.
    Click the appropriate status to update the booking.


Attendance Status Definitions:

  • Attended – The claimant attended and completed the appointment as scheduled.

  • Reschedule – The appointment needs to be moved to a new date/time.

  • No Show – The claimant did not attend the appointment without notice.

  • Cancel – The appointment has been cancelled.
