When to reverse an upsell
Sometimes a guest changes their mind after an upsell has been initiated. When this happens, you need to remove the upsell from the reservation and from your Besty ROI dashboard.
How to request a reversal
Message your Besty support channel with the guest's name and upsell type (e.g., late checkout, extra night).
The Besty team will remove it from your ROI dashboard and update the reservation accordingly.
You can also handle this in your PMS by reversing the alteration request if one was already sent to the OTA.
Completing upsells in the ROI dashboard
When a guest successfully purchases an upsell, mark it as completed:
Go to the ROI section in Besty.
Click the To Do tab.
Find the upsell and mark it complete.
Extra-night upsells on Airbnb
For Airbnb extra-night upsells, unblock the night in your calendar and send an alteration request. Set the nightly rate manually to match the price Besty offered — otherwise the totals will differ.
