Multi-user access and team collaboration

Every team member can have their own Besty login, role and permissions. Set them up under Settings > User Management, and never share credentials.

Besty supports multiple users

Every person on your team can have their own Besty login, with their own role and their own permissions. You do not need to share an account, and you should not share your password.

Do not share login credentials. A shared login means you cannot tell who sent a message or changed a setting, and removing one person's access means resetting the password for everyone. Add the person as a user instead.

Adding someone to your account

Go to Settings, then the User Management tab. Each person appears as a row showing their Type, Email, Name, Internal Name, Phone, Role, Status and Permissions.

Settings, User Management, one row per person with Role, Status and Permissions columns

The Status column is the one to watch when someone says they never got access:

  • Active means the person has accepted and is using the account. This row offers Deactivate.

  • Invited means the invitation was sent but not yet accepted. This row offers Resend invite, which is the fix for an invitation that never arrived. Re-adding the person is not necessary.

Roles and permissions

Open the chevron in the Permissions column to see what a person can do. Start from a role preset, then adjust from there rather than building permissions up from nothing. Access is scoped along three independent axes, Listings, Users and Departments, and beneath those sit individual page and action grants.

For the full detail, including all four role presets and every grant, see our article on managing users and permissions.

Notification settings are per person

Each team member sets their own notification preferences under Settings, then My Account. An admin changing their own settings does not change them for anyone else, which is a common source of "why am I not getting notified".

For push notifications, each person needs the mobile app. Have them visit app.getbesty.ai/mobile on their phone to download it.
