November 2026

04.11.2026 Stop a tax calculation yourself

If a tax calculation runs unusually long or hangs, you can stop it yourself: in the sidebar, hover over the running calculation and click Stop Calculation. Blockpit then shows the date of the last successful calculation again.

04.11.2026 Tax-free values in the Tax Results

The Tax Results now also show tax-free values, so you can see what is taxable and what stays tax-free.

04.11.2026 β€œ+ Tax Report” disabled during synchronization

While transactions are being synchronized, the + Tax Report button is disabled. This prevents incomplete reports.

04.11.2026 Inactive integrations: pause sync

If an integration has received no new transactions for 3 months, the dashboard shows Inactive 3Mo+ and the button Pause Sync.

04.11.2026 Cardano: improved import

Newly captured are, among others, trades and liquidity on Minswap, SundaeSwap, WingRiders, MuesliSwap, Spectrum, Splash and VyFi, NFT purchases and sales via jpg.store and Wayup, and protocol rewards (WMTX, Minswap Farm, VyFi Farm, Indigo Staking, Iagon).

04.11.2026 NEAR: revised import including NEAR Intents

The NEAR import captures tokens (NEP-141, NEP-245), NFTs, native staking and bridges. New are the NEAR Intents (Intent Swaps, Bridging, 1Click Swap, Shielded Deposits and Withdrawals, Earn and Liquid Staking Pools). Limits: M:N swaps appear only as a deposit and a withdrawal, spam tokens can lead to deviating balances.

04.11.2026 New: .ods files in the upload

The upload now also reads .ods files (LibreOffice, OpenOffice).

04.11.2026 Stake Transfer and DeFi Transfer with sub-integrations

With the labels Stake Transfer and DeFi Transfer you move staked or DeFi-locked assets into a sub-integration without creating a manual integration. For NEAR, Algorand, Solana and Sui, Blockpit creates sub-integrations automatically for new integrations and new entries into contracts.

04.11.2026 Resync a single transaction

With Resync Transaction you reload a single blockchain transaction with the current data from the network. Your own edits to this transaction are lost.

04.11.2026 Import Time Span for file uploads

For CSV and Excel uploads you choose the Import Time Span: Full History or a Start Date.

01.11.2026 Blockpit Plus: new price and unlimited Source of Funds reports

Blockpit Plus now costs €59, $69 or Β£49 per year. Blockpit Plus includes unlimited Source of Funds reports. Credits can no longer be purchased; existing credits remain valid.

October 2026

27.10.2026 CoinEx: integration discontinued

CoinEx has ceased operations and its API is shut down. Existing integrations and transactions are kept. You can only add new transactions via the CSV template or manually.

01.10.2026 Duplicate check and date limit for CSV/XLSX uploads

Blockpit compares new uploads with the transactions of the same integration and skips exact matches. For integrations that already have transactions, only transactions newer than the latest stored one are imported.

September 2026

07.09.2026 – New & Optimized CSV Imports: Kraken, Poloniex, Bitstamp & Bitpanda

We have expanded and streamlined our manual file imports for cleaner ledgers and audit-proof reporting:

  • Kraken: Full native support for the comprehensive Ledgers CSV export (capturing trades, deposits, withdrawals, staking rewards, and fees in one file).

  • Poloniex: Full support for multi-file exports covering Trades, Deposits, Withdrawals, and Futures PnL. All separate files can now be imported directly into a single integration.

  • Bitstamp: Optimized parsing for full transaction history exports via Bitstamp’s advanced export settings.

  • Bitpanda: Supplementary CSV import support covering crypto transactions as a standalone fallback.

♻️ Preferred Import Method for Bitpanda & Kraken:

We strongly recommend using OAuth or API for both Bitpanda and Kraken. These automatically synchronize all transactions seamlessly.

❗ Warning (Bitpanda only): The alternative Bitpanda CSV upload covers crypto transactions only and lacks sub-wallet structures. It is incompatible with OAuth/API and should strictly be used as a standalone fallback to prevent duplicate transactions and balance mismatches.

πŸ“– Detailed export walkthroughs for each exchange are available in our Help Center.

August 2026

12.08.2026: New Blockchain Integration: Robinhood

Transactions of the following blockchain can now be automatically imported into your Blockpit account:

03.08.2026 Comprehensive Update for the OKX Integration

We have fundamentally overhauled our OKX API integration:

  • Expanded Product Coverage: Improved detection for existing transaction types and native support for additional OKX products.

  • More Precise Data Structure: Optimized transaction mappings for cleaner ledgers and accurate tax reports.

⚠️ Important Notice for Existing Integrations:

This update applies exclusively to newly imported transactions (existing data will not be changed retroactively). Due to the updated ID structure, please do not use the "Sync missing transactions" button to avoid transaction duplicates.

Recommendation: Temporarily create a second integration to compare data between the old and new setups. Once verified, simply delete the integration you no longer wish to keep.

πŸ“– For full details and setup instructions, check out our OKX API Guide.

09.06.2026: New Transaction Labels "Open Perp" & "Close Perp" added

We are pleased to introduce two new transaction labels "Open Perp" and "Close Perp".

The Transaction Label Open Perp is used to record outgoing assets from perpetual futures trading in your integrations.

Open Perp Losses are determined based of the current market value. In addition, gains or losses from the sale of outgoing assets are determined by comparing the original acquisition cost with the current market value.

Within a tax year, losses from "Open Perp" transactions are automatically offset against gains from "Close Perp" transactions.

The Transaction Label "Close Perp" is used to record incoming assets from perpetual futures trading (e.g. Profits from exiting perpetual futures DEX products) in your integrations.

Profits and the acquisition costs of the incoming assets received trough Close Perp are determined based on the current market value.

Within a tax year, losses from "Open Perp" transactions are automatically offset against gains from "Close Perp" transactions.

May 2026

13.05.2026: New Blockchain Integration: Monad (MON)

Transactions of the following blockchain can now be automatically imported into your Blockpit account:

06.05.2026: New Feature - Transaction Review Status

Transactions can now be assigned a review status:

  • Marked for Review

  • Marked as Reviewed

  • Unmarked

The review status can be set individually via the bookmark icon or in bulk using multi-selection.

Transactions can also be filtered by review status using the new β€œView” filter. This feature helps organize reviewed and pending transactions more efficiently and makes newly imported transactions easier to identify.

❗ Important: Marking a transaction as β€œreviewed” does not replace an actual review. Transactions should always be compared with the original source.

March 2026

17.03.2026: New Report Design for USA and Italy

Italy: New Tax Report Experience

We’ve completely redesigned the Italian tax report to make it clearer, more structured, and easier to use.

What’s new:

  • Improved layout with a more intuitive, easy-to-follow structure

  • Separate files for better clarity:

    • Tax Report

    • Tax Forms

    • Transaction Details

  • Fully localized in Italian

This update makes it significantly easier to understand and work with your crypto tax data in Italy.

USA: Updated Tax Reports for 2025 (incl. 1099-DA Changes)

What’s new:

  • New, optimized report design with improved structure

  • Separate files for better usability:

    • Tax Report

    • Tax Forms

    • Transaction Details

  • Dedicated pages for Cost Basis Adjustments

  • Updated tax forms for 2025

1099-DA Reconciliation Workflow explained

Starting in 2025 (reporting in 2026), US custodial crypto brokers (e.g. Coinbase) are required to report transactions directly to the IRS via Form 1099-DA.

During the transition phase:

  • Brokers report proceeds, but often not the cost basis

  • This can lead to the IRS assuming the entire sale amount is profit

  • Result: potential over-taxation if not corrected

We’ve therefor we introduced a new Reconciliation Page:

  • Blockpit calculates the correct cost basis for your transactions

  • You can use this to adjust your Form 8949 accurately

  • Ensures your tax report matches the IRS-reported proceeds

For Custodial US brokers (1099-DA) β†’ Reconciliation workflow applies

For Non-custodial wallets & foreign exchanges β†’ Form 8949 is still pre-filled as before

13.03.2026: Stellar (XLM) Integration Upgrade: Token Detection

The Stellar (XLM) integration now supports the import of Stellar-based tokens, as well as associated transactions and balances.

06.03.2026: 8 New Transactions Labels added

It is now possible to upload the new CSV/Excel format (V3) provided by BingX into your BingX integration. This new format is now based on two separate CSV/Excel files (Transaction_History & Order_History) and is an adaptation of the old format (V2). Maintenance of the old format has therefore been discontinued.

Please note that Wealth (Earn, Loan, Dual Invest), RewardsHub, and LaunchHub (Launchpool, Launchpad, Xpool, Airdrops) transactions are currently no longer supported in this new format. Combining the new and old formats may therefore result in a discrepancy in balances.

Product updates provided by Blockpit have no direct effect on existing transaction data in your Integration (precautionary measure to avoid changing existing transaction histories through automatic product updates), so creating a new Integration could bring it up to date and solve your problem (Tips) already.

Therefore you can temporarily create a second Integration to be able to compare the new and old Integration. Then delete the Integration that you do not want to keep.

Alternatively, it is possible to re-synchronize missing or incorrectly imported transactions. Please note that re-synchronization of existing Bitget Integrations due to a new Bitget ID structure will most likely cause duplicate transactions. In order not to damage existing transaction histories and to avoid new duplicate transactions, we recommend the following article:

22.12.2025: New Blockchain Integration: Bittensor (TAO)

Transactions of the following blockchain can now be automatically imported into your Blockpit account:

04.12.2025: Bitpanda Integration Update: Margin Trading & Subwallet Structure

Our Bitpanda integration has received a new update, which was rolled out on Dec. 4, 2025, for existing and new Bitpanda integrations.

This update is based on the new Bitpanda margin trading product and the associated subwallet structure:

Due to the high complexity of the margin trading product (which makes manual data entry very difficult), all associated automatically imported transactions in existing Bitpanda integrations were specifically updated and thus retroactively updated. Further manual adjustments should therefore not be necessary.

Important note: Balances that are β€œlocked in margin trading” will temporarily not be displayed in the synced balance of your integration. The resulting β€œTip: Mismatched Balance” can be ignored. Loaned assets from margin trading may also cause temporary increases in value in your portfolio graph, which will be offset again after the position is closed.

For more details on handling the new Bitpanda integration, please refer to our guide:

13.10.2025 MEXC Global Integration Update: Full CSV/Excel File Upload

You can now upload MEXC transactions directly via CSV/Excel file into existing MEXC exchange integrations. It’s also possible to create a new MEXC integration by initially uploading a CSV/Excel file and later converting it into an API integration.

Before uploading your MEXC CSV/Excel file, please make sure that any already imported transactions are removed from the file to avoid creating duplicates when re-uploading.

For more details on how to use the new MEXC CSV/Excel upload feature, see our guide:

> How do I import data using the MEXC Global API key or CSV file?

02.10.2025: New Transaction Labels "Receive Loan" & "Repay Loan" added

We are pleased to introduce two new transaction labels "Receive Loan" and "Repay Loan".

The Transaction-Label Receive Loan is used to record the incoming Asset/Loans that are meant to be considered as tax neutral. Receive Loan transactions do not trigger taxable gains or losses and will be rated at market value at the time of inflow.

The transaction label Repay Loan is used to record outgoing assets or loan repayments that are to be sold at market value at the time of the outflow. Please note that this label is classified differently in Austria and therefore does not result in a taxable outflow, but rather a tax-neutral outflow.

01.10.2025: KuCoin Integration Update: New Products & Improvements

A new full update of our KuCoin integration has been released.

As part of the update, many challenges in connection with incorrectly imported transactions have been successfully addressed and resolved.

In addition, transaction data dating back up to 2 years can now be imported via API (previously there was a restriction of 3 months).

Newly supported products:

  • Converts

  • KCS (GebΓΌhren, Refunds)

  • KuCoin Card (Payments & Refunds)

  • Dust

  • Earn: Rewards & Distribution

  • Subaccount Transfers

  • Rewards & Distributions (KuCoin Event, Rewards, Airdrops)

  • Futures Trades PnL (Profit, Loss, Fee und Funding) Futures PnL and associated fees are only imported in full when the position is closed.

Product updates provided by Blockpit have no direct effect on existing transaction data in your Integration (precautionary measure to avoid changing existing transaction histories through automatic product updates), so creating a new Integration could bring it up to date and solve your problem (Tips) already.
