A common question we face is from HR users who can backdate leave for their employees but are unable to backdate their own leave.
By default the system doesn't allow employees to backdate leave so we have put something in place to override this should you need it.
Set All HR users can backdate/approve their own leave
If you would like all HR users to be able to add or approve their own leave then you can do this by going to...
Configure > Settings > Change what HR users can see and do > Ensure the box is not ticked.
Specific users can backdate/approve their own leave
This is done on the employee's profile by going to...
More > Permissions > (Edit) > Tick the "Does not need to request holidays" box
Then scroll down and select update employee.
