Breathe allows you to record both Grievances and Disciplinaries, with an overview of each feature's functionality provided below.

Grievances

A grievance procedure is a formal way for an employee to raise a problem or complaint to their employer.

This section is intended to be used to record any grievances that have been brought against someone within your organisation.

This will need to be activated from within the Modules section, which can be accessed by following the pathway: Configure > Settings > Modules > Included modules.

The initial grievance will be able to be seen by the person against whom this has been raised. Any notes that are made or documents added cannot be seen.

Disciplinaries

If you have decided that the grievance that has been raised is serious and will need to be taken further, the Disciplinaries section is the place to record this.

Once you have created the record, you can then edit/update this as and when it is needed. The fields that can be edited are shown below:

The employee will be able to see the disciplinary details; however, any notes that are made or documents added cannot be seen.
