A shared trip experience lets you schedule shared trips that several bookings join, such as classes or group clinics, instead of creating a separate private trip for each booking. What makes an experience a shared trip experience is its Default trip behavior: set it to Shared trips.
How to Create a Shared Trip Experience
Go to Products → Experiences and click + Add Experience.
Under Experience setup, choose who is running the experience. Shared trips work with both Outfitter-run and Partner-linked experiences.
Under Default trip behavior, select Shared trips. To let clients ask to start a new shared trip online when no open one fits, also turn on Clients can start a new shared trip. See How Clients Request a New Shared Trip Online.
Set Number of clients per shared trip. This sets how many seats each shared trip has. For example, set it to 6 for shared trips of six clients.
In Experience Info, give the experience a name that makes it clear it's a shared trip, such as "Fishing Class."
Complete the rest of the setup as usual, then click Create Experience. For a walkthrough of every section, see How to Create a New Experience.
The experience now appears in the list when you schedule shared trips. See How to Schedule Shared Trips.
Turn an Existing Experience into a Shared Trip Experience
Edit the experience and switch Default trip behavior to Shared trips. The change applies to new bookings only. Bookings that already exist keep the details they were confirmed with. See How to Edit an Existing Experience.
