Every Buenro group booking has a 7-day window to reach confirmation. If the group doesn’t fill all required spots or if a key participant (like the Curator) leaves, the booking will expire.
1. What is a “Completed” Group?
A group is considered complete when:
All available rooms in the property are claimed
Every participant’s payment method has been authorised
The group reaches the required number of confirmed guests
Once these conditions are met, the booking is automatically confirmed and payment is charged (captured).
2. What Happens If It’s Not Completed?
If the group is not completed within 7 days:
The booking is automatically cancelled
No one is charged — temporary holds on payment methods are released
The property becomes available to other users
All group members receive a cancellation notification
3. What If the Curator Leaves Midway?
If the Curator steps down before the group is confirmed:
The group cannot continue at present, as reassignment is not yet supported (Feature Coming Soon)
The booking is automatically cancelled
All payment holds are released for all participants
Group members may restart the booking if the property and dates are still available.
4. Can I Restart the Booking?
Yes. If your group is cancelled, you can:
Curate/start a new group for the same property (if still available)
Invite the same participants again using your dashboard or saved contacts
Adjust visibility settings or number of rooms to make it easier to confirm
If the property is no longer available, explore similar listings through the Explore tab.
5. Key Tips to Avoid Cancellation
Invite committed participants early and follow up quickly
Follow up on unpaid or pending guests
Choose properties with flexible room options
Set group visibility to Public, Followers Only, or Private — depending on your goals
