The Buenro Rules are the core expectations for all users on the platform. They help protect the community, ensure fairness, and keep group stays safe and enjoyable. These rules apply from account creation to booking, staying, and interacting on the platform.

1. Be Honest and Transparent

  • Use accurate personal and booking info

  • Don’t impersonate others or create fake profiles

  • Only join groups if you genuinely plan to attend

2. Respect Others

  • Be respectful — online and in person

  • No harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour

  • Follow quiet hours and respect shared spaces

3. Use the Platform Responsibly

  • Book and pay through Buenro only — never off-platform

  • Don’t try to bypass fees or booking policies

  • Don’t organise unrelated commercial activities through the app

4. Be a Good Guest

  • Follow check-in/out times

  • Respect the host’s house rules (listed in the property description)

  • Report any damage or safety concerns

5. Keep It Safe

  • Don’t bring unregistered guests

  • Make sure everyone in your group knows the rules

  • Report safety issues using the Help tab in the app

6. Platform Misuse May Lead to Action

Violations may result in:

  • Warnings or temporary restrictions

  • Removal from groups or bookings

  • Account suspension or permanent ban

Consequences depend on the severity and impact of the behaviour.

7. Curators Have Extra Responsibilities

  • Ensure your group is informed and compliant

  • Handle disputes and coordinate check-in/out

  • You’re the main point of contact for the group and property manager
