Buenro is committed to creating a safe, respectful community. If you experience or witness harmful behavior on the platform — whether online or during a stay — you can and should report it.
1. What Counts as Harmful Behavior?
You should report any behavior that:
Violates the Buenro Rules or Terms of Use
Makes you feel unsafe, harassed, or discriminated against
Involves deception, threats, or aggressive conduct
Involves uninvited guests, property misuse, or serious rule violations
All reports are taken seriously and handled with discretion.
2. How to Report via the App
You can report someone at any time:
Tap the Help tab or Support chat in the app
Select “Send us a message”
Reference the relevant booking or user
Provide as much detail as you can — including names, dates, and screenshots if available
You can also:
Report a message directly from the chat screen
Flag a user’s profile or Timeline activity
3. What Happens After You Report?
Once submitted:
The case is reviewed by Buenro
You may be contacted for more information
Actions may include warning the user, removing them from the platform, or escalating to legal authorities
All reports are reviewed by trained human agents — not just algorithms.
4. Can I Report on Behalf of Someone Else?
Yes. If you witness inappropriate behavior affecting someone else, you can still file a report. Mention your relationship to the situation when prompted.
5. Is My Identity Protected?
Yes. Reports are kept confidential. The reported user will not be told who submitted the report unless required by law.
6. Emergency Situations
If someone is in immediate danger:
Call local emergency services first
Then report the situation to Buenro so we can assist
We are here to support you — especially when safety is involved.
