SOP: Managing Class Limits for Membership Types

Objective

To effectively set class limits for limited subscription memberships or punch card memberships in order to provide access to a specific number of classes based on the membership type.

Key Steps

  1. Set Tracks: Determine the tracks that athletes will have access to.

  2. Weekly Limit: Decide on the number of classes per week (e.g., 3 classes) and set it as unlimited to override other limits.

  3. Monthly Limit: Set a monthly limit (e.g., 12 classes) which will cap the total classes even if tracks are set as unlimited.

  4. Billing Cycle Limit: Determine the total number of classes over a multi-month period (e.g., 36 classes over 3 months) to allow flexibility in usage.

  5. Punch Card: For one-time purchases, set a specific number of classes and expiration period (e.g., 333, 444) based on the type of punch card.

Cautionary Notes

  • Be mindful of overlapping limits (e.g., weekly vs. monthly) to avoid premature expiration of classes.

  • Prioritize limits based on usage frequency to prevent access issues for athletes.

  • Ensure clear communication with athletes regarding the limits and expiration dates of their memberships.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Utilize the unlimited setting for tracks to override other limits when necessary.

  • Regularly review and adjust class limits based on athlete feedback and usage patterns.

  • Provide clear instructions to athletes on how to track their class usage and remaining classes.
