Why Your Job Details Might Not Be Updating

If totals or details on a job summary aren't reflecting recent changes, here's what's likely happening and how to fix it.

If a job's details — totals, charges, payments, or status — doesn't seem to reflect changes you've made, this guide covers the most likely causes.

Try a hard refresh first

Most display issues on the job summary are browser cache problems. Before troubleshooting further:

  • Press Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) to do a hard refresh

  • Or close the tab, clear your browser cache, and reopen the job

This resolves the issue most of the time.

Charges or totals look wrong

If the estimate total or charges don't match what you entered:

  1. Open the Estimate tab on the job and confirm the charges are saved correctly there

  2. The job summary pulls from the saved estimate — if the estimate looks right, refresh the summary page

  3. If you recently edited the estimate but didn't save it, the summary won't reflect unsaved changes

Payments aren't showing on the summary

Payments logged manually (cash, check) should appear on the job summary immediately after being saved. If they're missing:

  • Confirm the payment was actually saved — go to the Payments tab on the job and verify it appears there

  • Refresh the summary page

  • ACH payments show as COMPLETED but take 4 business days to fully settle — the status may look pending in the meantime

Crew app changes not reflecting in the office

If your crew made changes during the move (time tracking, inventory, BoL updates) and they're not showing on the office side, it usually means the crew member didn't save or submit their changes. Ask the mover to confirm they completed and submitted the BoL before the job was closed.

Still showing wrong data after refreshing?

If a refresh doesn't fix it and the data looks genuinely wrong, contact support with the job number. Include a screenshot of what you're seeing and what you expect to see — that helps us diagnose it quickly.
