Seeing Where Customers Drop Off on Your Web Form

Chariot shows you when a customer started filling out your web form but didn't finish — and where they stopped. This helps you know whether a lead's inventory is partial or complete, and whether it's worth a follow-up.

Where to See Drop-Off Info

When a customer submits a partial form, their lead still appears in your Leads dashboard. You'll be able to see that the form was not fully completed and where they left off — so you can gauge how much information was actually captured before they stopped.

Why This Matters

  • Partial inventory — if a customer dropped off before completing the inventory section, your estimate may be based on incomplete info. This flag lets you know to ask for more detail before quoting.

  • Smarter follow-ups — knowing where they stopped helps you tailor your outreach and re-engage the right way.

How Leads Still Get Captured

Chariot auto-submits leads as soon as a customer clicks "Next" on the first page of the form — even if they don't complete the rest. This ensures you never miss a potential lead. The drop-off indicator tells you how much of the form they completed beyond that first step.

Summary

  • Drop-off visibility shows where customers stopped on your web form

  • Use it to identify leads with partial inventory and prioritize follow-ups

  • Leads are still captured automatically even when customers don't finish the form
