How can I earn Aeroplan points with Chexy?
Aeroplan Members can earn Aeroplan Points by signing up for a Chexy account, activating a payment, and linking their Aeroplan account number to their Chexy account. Then, they'll need to successfully make qualifying payments for rent, bills and taxes through the Chexy platform.
Please note: Chexy itself only provides bonus Aeroplan points. The majority of the points you earn through Chexy actually come from your credit card issuer, in the same way everyday expenses like groceries earn points on your card.
Do I need an Aeroplan account to earn points?
Yes. If you're not an Aeroplan Member, you can join for free at Aeroplan.com. Then, you'll need to link your Aeroplan account to your Chexy account within your Chexy dashboard.
Please ensure that the last name on your Chexy account matches exactly with your Aeroplan account—including formatting. The system is case-sensitive, so even small differences can cause an error.
For example: If your last name in Aeroplan is in all caps (e.g. "DOE"), it must also appear that way in Chexy.
