Linking Your Aeroplan Account to Chexy

How do I link my Aeroplan account to my Chexy account?

Step 1: Log into your Chexy dashboard.

Step 2: You'll see a section on your dashboard with the Aeroplan logo. On mobile, you might need to scroll closer to the bottom. On desktop, it'll be on the right hand side. Tap or click on this section. You may first see an introductory screen with more information about connecting your Aeroplan account. Follow the prompts, and if you haven't set up a payment yet, you'll need to do that first. After, you'll be able to enter your Aeroplan #.

Step 3: You're now ready to start earning Aeroplan points with Chexy! In your dashboard, you'll see a checklist of the milestones you'll need to achieve to earn points.

You need to make sure the last name on your Chexy account matches your Aeroplan account. This is the same as the name you used to verify your identity while signing up, and cannot be changed on the Chexy system.

Please note: Your Aeroplan account can only be linked to one Chexy account, and once it's been connected, it can't be linked to a different one later.

How will I know which offer I'm eligible for?

Log into your Chexy account at app.chexy.co and you'll see the offer on your dashboard.

Please note that point accruals are based on your activation date. You can find this by going into your Settings > My details > Activation date.

I'm using an Aeroplan co-branded credit card (TD, CIBC, or Amex). Do I still need to link?

Yes, you'll still need to link your Aeroplan account to your Chexy account. This ensures that you get to "double dip" — you'll earn points as you normally would through your credit card, and you'll also earn extra points by hitting certain milestones with Chexy.

Can I link multiple Aeroplan accounts?

No. Each Chexy account can only be linked to one Aeroplan account per resident.

Can I link my Aeroplan number to both a personal and business Chexy account?

Yes. You may maintain separate accounts and link Aeroplan to either. To link, please contact support with:

  1. Date of birth on business account and personal account

  2. Aeroplan number you are trying to link

  3. Business Chexy email

  4. Personal Chexy email

Issues linking your Aeroplan account

To successfully link your Aeroplan account to Chexy, the last name on both accounts must match exactly.

How to fix this: If your names don't match, you'll need to update your last name on your Aeroplan account to match your Chexy account.

  1. Visit aeroplan.com to request a name change

  2. You'll be asked to upload proof of identification as part of the process

  3. The name change typically takes approximately 2 weeks to be processed

Once the change is complete, try linking your accounts again.
