How to Apply a Promo Code
You can enter a promo code in two ways depending on your situation:
When setting up a new recurring payment:
On the "Activate Recurring Payment" screen, click "Enter Promo Code."
Enter your promo code and apply it before completing activation.
On an existing active recurring payment:
Click on the recurring payment from your home screen.
Click the "More" button.
Click "Enter Promo Code."
Enter your promo code, then click "Apply."
Important Notes About Promo Codes
Promo codes shared through marketing materials (emails, influencers, social campaigns) always come with specific terms and eligibility requirements.
Some promo codes are valid only on your first payment. These terms are firm — exceptions cannot be made if you have already completed your first payment, so please review the details of any promo code before applying it.
Promo codes cannot be applied retroactively to completed or in-progress payments.
Promo codes can only be applied to payments up to $7,500.
Once applied, you cannot remove a promo code from a payment.
Pausing a payment keeps the promo code on that payment for later, should you decide to activate it again.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Can't apply to a one-time payment: Promo codes can only be applied to recurring payments — not one-time payments or payments that are already in progress.
Ineligible payment amount: Promo codes only apply to payments up to $7,500.
Issues reapplying after canceling: If you cancel a recurring payment and set it up again, you may encounter issues redeeming the same promo code. In such cases, manual intervention by Chexy's Support team may be required to reinstate the code for your payment.
Credit Card Fee Waiver
If you have been approved for a card through Chexy and are eligible for a one-month fee waiver, please note that this offer applies only to applications made via a Chexy link before April 9, 2026.
If you were approved before that date, please submit a support ticket by following these steps:
Go to app.chexy.co
Click the pink question mark in the bottom-right corner of the screen
Select "Send us a message" > "Ask a detailed question" > "Promotions, Referrals & Offers" > "Credit Card Fee Waiver"
Submit a PDF or screenshot of your application approval email, ensuring the application date is clearly visible
