How Do I Change the Verified Address on My Account?

Your Chexy account has a verified address primarily used for compliance and identity verification purposes. If you need to change this specific address, you must contact support to request a manual update.

This process typically requires:

  • Re-verifying your account

  • Resubmitting valid ID documentation

This verified account address cannot be changed directly from your dashboard.


Important

Your verified address is used for compliance purposes only.

It does not:

  • Affect how payments are processed

  • Change how funds are delivered

  • Impact your payee

Updating your verified address is not required for payment processing.


What If I Moved and Need to Update My Rental Address?

The address associated with your rental payments is managed per payment, not as a single default address for your account. If you’ve moved or are preparing to move and need to update the rental address for a payment:

For most payees, you will need to:

  1. Pause your existing recurring payment

  2. Set up a new recurring payment with your updated address

  3. Activate the new payment at least 4 business days before your due date

For certain payees, you may be able to update your rental address directly within the app when modifying an existing payment or setting up a new one. If this option is available, you will see it during the payment setup or editing process.

Generally, recurring payments cannot have their associated address edited once created, but specific payee flows may offer direct management options.
