How Do I Change the Verified Address on My Account?

If you would like to change the verified address on your Chexy account, you must contact support to request a manual update.

This requires:

  • Re-verifying your account

  • Resubmitting valid ID documentation

Address changes cannot be made directly from your dashboard.


Important

Your verified address is used for compliance purposes only.

It does not:

  • Affect how payments are processed

  • Change how funds are delivered

  • Impact your payee

Updating your verified address is not required for payment processing.


What If I Moved and Need to Update My Rental Address?

If you’ve moved or are preparing to move:

You must:

  1. Pause your existing recurring payment

  2. Set up a new recurring payment with your updated address

  3. Activate the new payment at least 4 business days before your due date

Recurring payments cannot have their associated address edited once created.

You may also need to update other lease-related details when setting up the new payment.
