Removing a Volunteer from an Event Shift

Follow along with the video above to learn how to remove a volunteer from an event shift.

In the case that a volunteer must be removed from an event shift, administrators have the ability to do so, as long as the event has not yet occurred.

To do this, on the Events calendar, select the box with the date of the event. From there, click the title of the event to be taken to its individual event page.

Select the Volunteers sub-tab on the page. You should see a list of the volunteers that had or have registered for the event. Find the row with the volunteer whose shift you wish to remove, and select the icon to the right of the volunteer that has a person with an X on it.

A pop-up box will appear asking you to select the volunteer's shifts you would like to remove. Select all that apply. The volunteer will be notified of the changes. Once finished, choose Remove Shifts. The volunteer should no longer be registered for that shift!
