Below we are looking at how you can add a member or a prospect to an event from the event's waitlist when the class is full. This added flexibility is useful in a few situations. For example, you:
May want to allow a prospect to book into a class with priority but already have a long waitlist; or
Don't want to remove contacts who did not show to the event; or
Have people come to your event without booking, and you have some emergency capacity to not turn them away!
Instructions:
1. Navigate to your event and click the three dots beside the contact in the waitlist you wish to add to the event (note: their position on the waitlist doesn't matter):
2. Choose the "Book now" option to add them to the class:
You can restrict which users have access to this feature by heading to Settings > Users then editing user permissions relating to Can promote Waitlist attendees into Booking attendees.
Please note that this feature is only available for businesses who are on the newer "Calendar Foundations" feature. If your account was created between 2017 - 2022 and you don't see this option, please get in touch with our support team who can help you transition across to the new calendar for free.
