CoachRx Subscription Pricing, Tiers & Renewal FAQ

Understand CoachRx subscription tiers, how upgrades and downgrades work, annual vs. monthly billing, renewal pricing, and what happens when you exceed your plan's client count.

Updated this week

CoachRx subscriptions are based on client count. Every tier includes access to all platform features - there is no feature gating between plans. This article covers how pricing tiers work, what triggers an upgrade or downgrade, and how renewals are handled.

How Pricing Tiers Work

CoachRx pricing is structured around the number of active clients on your roster. All plans include full access to every feature on the platform, including Programs, Business Suite, Assessments, Messaging, Integrations, and RxBot. The only difference between tiers is the number of clients you can manage.

Your current tier and client count are visible in your account settings. If you are unsure which plan you are on, navigate to your Account Settings to view your subscription details.

Upgrades

When you exceed the client count for your current tier, you will be prompted to upgrade to the next tier. The upgrade is not automatic - you will need to confirm the tier change before it takes effect. The price difference is prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

For example, if your plan covers up to 10 clients and you add an 11th, you will be prompted to confirm an upgrade to the next tier.

Downgrades

If your client count drops below your current tier's threshold, you can downgrade to a lower-priced tier directly from your billing settings. No need to contact support.

To downgrade your plan:

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Navigate to the Subscription or Billing section

  3. Select the tier that matches your current client count

  4. Confirm the change

Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

Annual vs. Monthly Billing

CoachRx offers both monthly and annual billing options for each tier.

  • Monthly billing charges you once per month at the standard rate for your tier.

  • Annual billing gives you a discount off the monthly price, but the full year is paid upfront in a single charge.

If you are on an annual plan and your client count exceeds your tier's limit during the year, you will be charged the difference for the excess clients for the remainder of your annual term.

Renewal

Renewals are automatic. You do not need to take any action to renew your subscription. On your renewal date, your subscription will renew at the current rate for your active tier.

If pricing has changed since you originally subscribed, your renewal amount may reflect the updated pricing. You can check your upcoming renewal amount in your Account Settings under subscription details.

Checking Your Upcoming Bill

To see what you will be charged at your next renewal:

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Navigate to your Subscription section

  3. Your next billing date and amount will be displayed
