Canceling Your CoachRx Subscription & What Happens to Your Clients

If you need to cancel your CoachRx subscription, this article walks you through the process and explains what happens to your clients, their data, and any active program subscriptions.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

To cancel your CoachRx subscription:

  1. Navigate to your Account Settings

  2. Go to the Subscription section

  3. Click Cancel Subscription

  4. Follow the confirmation prompts

If you are unable to cancel through your account settings, contact our support team at coachrxsupport@opexfit.com and we will process the cancellation for you.

What Happens After You Cancel

When your subscription is canceled, your access continues through the end of your current billing cycle. You are not charged again after that date. Here is what to expect:

  • Your access: You retain full access to your CoachRx dashboard until your billing period ends.

  • Client access: Your clients will lose access to their programs and the CoachRx app when your subscription ends. They will no longer be able to view workouts, track data, or message you through the platform.

  • Client data: Client data is retained on the platform. If you resubscribe in the future, your client roster and their historical data will still be available.

  • Active program subscribers: If you have clients paying for programs through CoachRx Business Suite, those subscriptions will need to be addressed before cancellation. Clients with active payment subscriptions should be communicated with prior to your cancellation.

End-of-Billing-Cycle Access

Cancellation does not take effect immediately. You and your clients retain access until your current billing period expires. For monthly plans, that means the end of the current month. For annual plans, that means the end of your annual term.

Reactivating Your Account

If you decide to come back, you can reactivate your subscription by logging into your CoachRx account and selecting a new plan. Your previous client data will still be available.

Q: Will my clients lose access immediately when I cancel?

A: No. Clients retain access until the end of your current billing cycle. After that date, they will no longer be able to view their programs in the CoachRx app.

Q: Is my client data deleted when I cancel?

A: No. Client data is retained. If you resubscribe later, your roster and historical data will be intact.

Q: What should I tell my clients before I cancel?

A: Let them know the date their access will end so they can save any information they need. If they have active payment subscriptions through your CoachRx Business Suite, address those directly with each client beforehand.
