If a client needs to update the email address associated with their CoachRx account, there are a few things to be aware of. This article covers how email changes work, when you need to contact support, and what to consider if the client has active payments.
How Email Changes Work
A client's email address in CoachRx is tied to their account login. Changing it affects how they sign in to the CoachRx mobile app and how they receive notifications from the platform.
Requesting an Email Change
Email address changes need to be handled by the CoachRx support team. To request an email change for a client:
Contact coachrxsupport@opexfit.com
Include the following in your email:
The client's current email address
The client's new email address
The client's name
Your organization name
Our support team will update the email and confirm once it is complete
The client will need to use their new email address to log in to the CoachRx app going forward.
If the Client Has Active Payments
If the client has an active payment subscription through CoachRx Business Suite, their email may also be associated with their Stripe payment profile. When you contact support about an email change, let us know if the client has active payments so we can ensure the change is reflected correctly across both CoachRx and Stripe.
Client-Initiated Email Changes
Clients cannot change their own email address directly from the CoachRx mobile app. If a client asks you about changing their email, let them know the change needs to go through the support team and offer to submit the request on their behalf.

A: No. All client data (assessments, programs, history, messaging) is preserved. Only the login email changes.
