You can now link individual workout items in your program calendars directly to Fitness Monitoring Exercises (FMEs). When the program syncs to each client, CoachRx auto-resolves the correct metric for every linked item. This saves program-based coaches hours of manual metric setup per client.
What this means
Previously, if you wrote a program with a back squat test in week 1 and week 8, you had to open each client's profile and link that specific test back to the client's squat FME manually. Now you do it once on the program, and it auto-resolves on every client when you sync.
How to link a workout item to an FME
Open any program calendar in the Programs section.
Click the workout item you want to link (a specific exercise inside a session).
In the workout item panel, find the Linked Metric (FME) field.
Start typing the exercise name and choose the matching FME from the dropdown.
Save the workout item.
What happens when the program syncs
When you sync a program to a client, CoachRx looks at every linked workout item and finds that client's matching FME automatically. If the client has a personal best on file, the scheduled exercise is tied back to that metric so progress tracks cleanly.
If the client does not yet have that FME on file, CoachRx creates the link when they first log a result, so no data is lost.
Use cases
Block-style programs. Link your test weeks to core FMEs (squat, deadlift, press) once and track progress across every client on the block.
Group coaching. Assign the same program to 20 clients and have metrics resolve for each of them without manual setup.
Progressions. When a client re-enters a block, their historic metrics auto-populate so you see progression clearly.
Tips
ℹ️
If an FME does not appear in the dropdown, it may not exist yet in your library. Create it in the FMEs section first, then return to the program.
