CoachRx Guide

Welcome to CoachRx! This getting started guide will walk you through the essential features and help you set up your account to start coaching clients effectively.

Account Setup

When you first sign up for CoachRx, you'll need to complete your account setup. Start by creating your coach profile with a professional photo, your name, and a bio that explains your coaching expertise and specialties. This profile is what clients see, so make it clear, professional, and welcoming.

Next, configure your basic account settings including your timezone, coaching preferences, and notification settings. These settings ensure that CoachRx works well with your schedule and communication style.

If you're using the Business Suite features, you'll also need to set up payment processing and any business-related configurations during initial setup.

Dashboard Navigation

The CoachRx dashboard is your command center. Here you'll find an overview of all your clients, upcoming workouts, pending messages, and important tasks. The dashboard is designed to give you quick visibility into what needs your attention.

Key dashboard sections include:

Client List: View all your clients in one place. You can sort by name, status, or other criteria to quickly find the client you need to work with.

Messages: All client communication happens in the messaging section. You'll see new messages, outstanding client questions, and can easily respond with text or video messages.

Program Management: Access all your programs and clients' current programs from the dashboard. You can quickly navigate to a specific client's program or create a new program.

Upcoming Training: See what workouts your clients have scheduled so you can stay informed about their training week.

Key Features Overview

Creating and Assigning Programs: Programs are the core of your coaching. You can build programs from scratch or use templates to save time. Once created, programs are assigned to clients who then follow the daily workout plan within the app.

Daily Plans: Each day your client logs into CoachRx, they see their daily workout plan. As the coach, you can view the same daily plan they see and provide feedback, answer questions, or make adjustments.

Messaging: CoachRx messaging allows you to communicate directly with each client. You can send text messages, record video messages using Loom, and keep all client communication in one organized place. Messaging is also where clients submit form checks and ask program-related questions.

Assessments: Use assessments to gather baseline information about your clients and to measure progress over time. Assessments help you design appropriate programs and provide objective data showing your clients their improvement.

Program Adjustments: Programs aren't static. You can modify exercises, adjust rep ranges, change weights, or completely restructure a workout based on how your client is responding. CoachRx makes it easy to make these adjustments and clients see the updates immediately.

First Steps for New Coaches

Step 1 - Complete Your Profile: Spend time creating a professional, detailed coach profile. This is the foundation of client trust.

Step 2 - Create Initial Programs: Develop 1 - 3 foundational program templates for your most common client types. These will speed up client onboarding and your future program creation.

Step 3 - Invite Your First Client: Most coaches start by inviting an existing client or a trusted friend to test out the platform. Inviting clients is simple - you send them an invitation link and they create their account and get access to their program.

Step 4 - Experience the Client View: Have someone (or use a test account) experience the platform from the client side. This helps you understand how your clients see the program and use the app daily.

Step 5 - Establish Communication: Set up your communication cadence. Decide how often you'll check in, what types of messages you'll send, and establish response time expectations. Clear communication prevents misunderstandings and builds client trust.
