Video

Summary

  1. To show the variance between the current and the previous estimate, go to the estimate page.

  2. Click Show Variance, and then choose against which milestone you want to calculate this variance. The numbers will appear in the table per component and for the division total.

  3. You can use the sorting and the filtering tools to focus on individual components or divisions. From the view options, you can show the variance as a percentage instead of numbers.

  4. The variance is also available in the Reporting solution. From the Standards Reports, choose Estimate Report.

  5. Then select a milestone, a format, and decide if you want to show a variance and against which milestone it is calculated. Then you can customize the report sections and layout, and download the report as an Excel file or a pdf.
