INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Enable and configure event guest enrollment settings.
Use Cases: It is not possible for a true guest (someone without a CourtReserve account) to register for an event. Guests need to be (a) registered by a member or (b) added by a system user.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click EVENTS on the side menu.
Create a new event or edit an existing one.
Scroll down the page and click the Guest Setup tab.
Fill in the fields (see below)
Click Save Changes.
Guest Setup
Allow Guest(s) - Use the check box to enable or disable guest registration settings for each membership type. If enabled, the CourtReserve displays the guest configuration options on the admin panel.
Total Guest(s) Allowed for each Event Occurrence - Set the maximum number of guests that can register for a single event occurrence. This number overrides all numbers in the Max Guests column. For instance, a membership type is allowed to bring one guest (set in the Max Guests column), but the total number of registered guests has already been reached. That means no member (or other registrant) is able to register a guest.
Allow Guests - Use the checkboxes in this column to enable or disable guest registration permissions for each membership type.
Drop-in Price - The guest price to join one date of an event.
FULL Price - The guest price to register for all event dates.
Max Guests - Enter the number of guests that each player can register for an event. If the field is blank, CourtReserve applies a default limit of 10 guests per registration.
FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
When a player clicks the Register button on the member portal, CourtReserve shows the guest fields (if enabled by the system user). The member/player enters the name of each guest (phone number is optional). The screenshot below shows the guest's full price to attend all event dates.
If a player tries to register a guest on the member portal, but the event threshold for guests has already been reached, CourtReserve displays an error message.
