Voice Clinical Notes

What is Voice Clinical Notes?

Voice Clinical Notes allows clinical staff to use their voice to input text to be copied into the clinical notes section of Dentrix. Save even more time by using this same process for creating written notes for other uses such as notes to go with insurance claims, patient correspondence, and more!

Follow these easy steps to get started!

1) Open a clinical note in Dentrix and click “Add Clinical Note” in Bola

2) Click the microphone button and dictate notes to the system. Click the microphone button again to turn recording off when complete.

3) After turning off the microphone, you can edit the text manually as normal.

4) Click the “Copy to Clipboard” button to copy the text from the Bola text entry box as shown and paste (Control + v) into the Clinical Note box in Dentrix (or any other location where you can paste text).

NOTE: You can still use clinical note templates. Notes copied to the clipboard can be inserted in the Note field before or after using clinical notes templates.
