What I need to know about my Eatwith calendar

  • From now on, your experiences will be scheduled by default. All the dates in blank are open and are bookable by the guests.

When you click on any blank dates on your calendar, you will be able to see the events scheduled on this specific date and edit them like usual.

  • If you are not available to host, you can close specific dates. On your calendar, you will see a padlock on them, which means that you will not receive any booking requests on these dates (on Eatwith or our partners' websites)

  • On the calendar, you will only see your pending and validated booking requests as well as your scheduled private events. You will see a key next to the event.

Note: you can update your calendar only for experiences that are published.

What do I have to do to continue hosting?

  • Check and update your availability. All you have to do is to close the dates when you are not available. You will continue to receive requests as usual.
The more dates you have open, the more opportunities you will have to receive bookings. Only close the dates when you are absolutely certain you cannot host.

  • Review your booking deadline and choose what fits you best. If you are comfortable accepting last-minute bookings, you can, for example, choose a deadline of 24 hours before the start of the event.
To update your booking deadline, go to "My experiences" > "Edit"> "3.Description"

  • Manage your booking requests. If your experiences are in instant booking, they will be automatically approved. If your experiences are not in instant booking, you have 48 hours to reply before the requests expire.
Read more about instant booking here.

I only host private events. What do I have to do?

You have to select "Private Events only" on the bookings options of your experience.

Your calendar should be open and your dates open for bookings by default.
If this is not the case please contact us at community@eatwith.com

I only host pop-up events. What do I have to do?

If you only host pop-up events, your calendar should be closed by default. In this case, you will see a padlock on all the dates and you will have to open your calendar on days you would like to host.
If your calendar is not closed by default and you'd like it to be, please contact us at community@eatwith.com
