When your customers purchase a ticket, they will receive a ticket notification email showing a link to access their online ticket, upon clicking on the link they should be routed to a PDF or an Apple wallet pass ticket which can be shown and scanned on the event day.

However, there are instances when an error shows “This event page is no longer available.

When customers encounter the message "This event page is no longer available" while attempting to access their tickets, it can be puzzling and concerning, especially to your customers. This notification typically appears when there are underlying reasons hindering access to the event or ticketing page.

Below are potential explanations for this message:

Event Deletion or Expiration:

  • Deleted Events: If the event has been deleted, attempting to access the event page will result in this message. This may happen when the event’s product page is deleted from the Shopify store and then recreated the event. Deleting an event's product page directly from the Shopify store instead of the app can cause the deleted event to still appear on the storefront, leading to confusion if customers purchase tickets for the deleted event.

  • Expired Events: After the event's scheduled date has passed, the page might display this message as the event is no longer active (this sometimes happens when an organizer accidentally sets the wrong date or accidentally changes the date to an earlier date). Make sure that the event is set properly.

Once you have confirmed that the event wasn’t deleted and the date is properly set and they’re getting the error message, please reach out to us so we can make sure to immediately fix this for you. We understand the importance of a seamless ticketing experience for your customers and are committed to addressing any issues promptly.
