Some shifts ask for a particular skill on top of your usual role. If you can show you have that skill, you'll see those shifts too. More skills means more work available to you.
In Canada, we currently verify two skills: Dementia Training and N95 Mask Fitting.
Both are proven with a document. Upload your certificate in the app under Documents, the same way you upload anything else, and our team will check it. Once it's approved, the skill is added to your profile and any shifts asking for it will start showing up.
Some skills are based on experience rather than a certificate. If we ask when you last practised something, answer honestly. Being accurate matters more than ticking every box.
