You need a valid CPR/AED certificate. This is the training that covers First Aid and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
"Valid" simply means it hasn't expired. Keep an eye on the expiry date, because if your certificate runs out, you won't be able to book shifts until you upload a new one.
Your certificate should clearly show your name, who ran the training, and the date you completed it or the date it expires.
Courses are run by providers across Ontario, including St. John Ambulance and the Canadian Red Cross. If you're not sure whether a particular course will be accepted, email us at hello.ca@florenceapp.com before you book it, and we'll check for you.
