Sending copies are available to:
Plans: All plans
Team Members: Account Owner, Editors, and Editor/Managers
Sending a copy does not include any information that is account unique like ingredient costs, nutrition data, and assigned tags/tools.
Sending a copy of a recipe or recipe book gives the recipient their own new version of that content. This means they will not see any updates you make to a recipe book, recipe, or ingredients if you sent a copy to them.
This is different from "Grant view access," which shows the recipient a live version of your recipe, recipe book or Doc. Learn about view-only access here.
After sending a copy, the recipient of the copy will need to move the recipe out of their Personal concept and give it ownership to the location or concept they want the recipe to live in. See the video below or learn more from our help article about changing a recipe's ownership.
Please Note:
If the recipient does not have a meez account, they will be prompted to setup a free meez account to view your content.
You can only share a copy of a recipe you own or have Edit access to. If you have view-only access to a recipe, you can not share a copy of it.
1) Share copies from the Home Table Page
Share a copy of a single item - go to the more menu (the 3 dots) to the right of any item
2) Bulk Share a copy of a multiple items
Click the select box to the left the items you'd like to share.
3) Share a copy from any detail page
Go to the more menu (the 3 dots) at the top of the page in the navigation bar
