What to know when someone gives you edit access to their recipes.

Updated over 10 months ago

If you've been invited to join another account as a Editor, check out this article for instructions on how to get access to the shared account.

Once you're in, you'll be able to do everything Viewers can do, plus the following:

You can see which Concepts you have access to and what kind of access you have by clicking the "All" menu at the top left of your meez home screen. You'll see "Editor" next to any Concepts where you have Editor access:

Creating Recipes and Docs as an Editor

When you are an Editor on another account and you create new recipes or docs or make a copy, you have the option to assign the newly created recipe or doc to any Concept you have access to. In the example below, you can see your own "Personal" Concept and one shared Concept from another account, called "Pizza Bell." :

IMPORTANT: Your Personal Concept is private to your account and should only be used for recipes and docs you don't want anyone else to see.

The "Pizza Bell" Concept is where you have edit access, as indicated by the Team Member icon that looks like two people standing together.

If you want your teammates to see the recipe or doc you are creating, be sure to check the box next to the shared concept.

If you need access to costing in a shared account, please contact the owner of the account to upgrade your access level to Manager.
