Track your WhatsApp performance

How to read your results from the WAX home page.

The WAX home page is your daily starting point.

It lets you quickly track how your WhatsApp campaigns perform, spot key trends and check the overall health of your channel.

At the top of the page, you'll find:

  • A personalized welcome message

  • A period selector (Time period)

👉 This filter is key: all the data shown (revenue, conversations, ROI…) depends on the selected period.

💡 Tip: use it to compare one month with another, a sales period with a non-promo period, or before/after a new strategy.

Business Performance Summary

This is the main block of the page. It sums up the business performance generated through WhatsApp.

Revenue

  • Revenue attributed to WhatsApp over the selected period

  • The "from …" value shows the previous period you're comparing with in the filters

  • The percentage in red or green shows the change

A drop isn't necessarily worrying: it can come from seasonality, the end of a promotion or a deliberately lower sending volume.

Conversations

  • Total number of WhatsApp conversations started

  • Includes campaigns, automations and incoming (inbound) messages

The volume of conversations helps you understand where your exchanges come from:

  • an increase can come from a marketing campaign

  • a sudden peak can come from a transactional flow (tracking, NPS…) depending on your order volume over the period

  • a decrease can be intentional (more targeted strategy)

👉 Always analyze it together with Revenue and Cost.

Cost

  • Total cost of sending WhatsApp messages (Meta markup + WAX markup)

  • Depends on volume, target countries and message types

Looking at cost against revenue generated helps you understand whether performance is affected by:

  • an unengaging message,

  • or unsuitable targeting.

👉 Always analyze cost together with revenue.

Delivery Statuses

This block helps you understand how your messages are delivered and used:

  • Delivered: total number of messages sent

  • Read: percentage of messages opened out of the total sent

  • Interacted: percentage of clicks (quick replies or external links)

  • Opt-ins: new contacts who agreed to receive your messages

  • Opt-outs: new contacts who unsubscribed

👉 These analyses are available separately for active automations and for sent campaigns.

To analyze a specific campaign → Campaigns tab

To understand the impact of an automated scenario → Automations
